Welcome to our sister ministry— IMPACT Center, an interdenominational, Christian faith-based, youth center in downtown Winona. Our mission is to impact the lives of children through Christian mentoring.
We operate out of the western half of the Grace Place Building at 66 E. Second Street, from 2:30-6:00pm, Mon-Fri. We will serve children ages 5 and up, at absolutely no cost to the family.
Each evening we will offer children homework assistance, snacks, devotions, and free time to use our gaming equipment, watch movies, and socialize in a healthy safe environment. Our nightly devotions will emphasize the very basic Christian principles of love, respect, and responsibility.

The recent months at the IMPACT Youth Center consisted of a lot of activity both inside and outside of our Center. Attendance remained steady at around 30-40 children participating in our program each night. In addition to our nightly structured in-house schedule, we also made time to visit places like JumpStart Trampoline Park, Westgate Bowling Alley, and the Minnesota Marine Art Museum!
Some of our high school students also participated in a program we began this spring called, College Bound. This program takes us on guided tours of Winona State University, MN State College SE Tech, and St Mary’s University. This effort is to familiarize the students with what our local colleges have to offer them.
We kicked off a summer-long youth program called, Camp IMPACT. Our camp meets Mondays – Thursdays from noon to 4pm, and consists of over 30 Winona area children in grades K-8. Camp IMPACT features many fun outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and games, but also keeps a focus on learning through our daily reading program we call, The Reading Olympics. Those that show the greatest commitment to reading this summer will receive a gold, silver, or bronze metal! This is a fun way for us to keep our children’s young minds sharp over the summer months!
